Jason Spisak as Lust

Jason Spisak has equal experience in cartoons and video games. The man voiced Bartz Klauser in some of Square Enix’s recent titles, including Dissidia Final Fantasy NT and World of Final Fantasy, as well as Oswald Cobblepot in Batman: The Telltale Series. However, Spisak’s more notable roles include Razer in Green Lantern: The Animated Series and Wally West in numerous DC titles —including Young Justice, Teen Titans: The Judas Contract, and Lego DC Super-Villains.

Unlike most portrayals of Lust, Darksiders III’s depiction is that of an androgynous creature who blurs the line between man and woman. More importantly, this Lust isn’t only concerned with carnal desires. Every sort of lust, from a thirst for power to a desire to live, is within Lust’s domain. While an elegant combatant, Lust’s ability to twist even the most benign or noble of aspirations into a sin is his, her, or it’s deadliest weapon.

Abby Craden as Pride

While Abby Craden doesn’t have as many roles under her belt as other Darksiders III actors, she has delivered plenty of stellar performances. Craden voiced Olivia Pierce in DOOM, Senya Tirall in Star Wars: The Old Republic – Knights of the Fallen Empire, and Galena in Quake Champions.

Pride, as you might expect, is the self-proclaimed leader of the Seven Deadly Sins. And, unlike her distinctly demonic brethren, Pride superficially resembles an angel. True to her name, she looks down on everything and everyone who isn’t herself, and like Lust, she isn’t beneath twisting benign feelings and emotions into sinful mockeries.

Fred Tatasciore as Wrath and Gluttony

Meet the Voice Actors of Darksiders III’s Voice Cast

Much like Phil LaMarr, Fred Tatasciore’s filmography is as long as it is varied. Tatasciore has a talent for playing multiple characters who sound nothing alike in the same project. Some of his more recognizable roles include Megatron in Transformers: War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron, Damon Baird and various Locust Drones in the Gears of War franchise, and AAARRRGGHH!!! in Trollhunters. Tatasciore even played the Charred Council in the first Darksiders game and the DLC bosses Frostbane and Belial in Darksiders II.

While the other Seven Deadly Sins try to tempt Fury with empty promises and hollow illusions, Wrath is happy with just fighting and killing. However, while he takes great pleasure in combat, Wrath isn’t beneath taking advantage of a distraction to get the upper hand.

Gluttony, on the other hand, is all too happy to placate his victims with hallucinations of bountiful banquets. Little more than a massive, sentient maw housing multiple smaller mouths, Gluttony doesn’t distinguish between searching for his next meal and letting it come to him.

Darin De Paul as Sloth and the Lord of the Hollows

Meet the Voice Actors of Darksiders III’s Voice Cast

An all-round actor, Darin De Paul has played many a role in both live-action, voice over, and even Broadway. Most recently, De Paul has portrayed J. Jonah Jameson in the PlayStation 4 exclusive Spider-Man, Ardyn in Final Fantasy XV, and Reinhardt in Overwatch.

As the name suggests, Sloth is the laziest of all the Seven Deadly Sins. While capable of combat, he would rather let his “willing” minions do all the fighting. With rare exceptions, Sloth never exerts himself past speech, and he is even too lazy to talk for extended periods.

Meanwhile, the Lord of the Hollows is a powerful, enigmatic entity who helps Fury in her quest. Little is known about his origins and less about his motivations, but at least for now, he is someone Fury can call an ally.

JB Blanc as Avarice and Ulthane

Meet the Voice Actors of Darksiders III’s Voice Cast

Another Darksiders alum, JB Blanc voiced Ulthane in the first game. Blanc also has played countless video game and cartoon characters, including Ryotaro Dojima in Persona 4 (and Persona 4 Golden and Persona 4: Dancing All Night) and Enrico Maxwell in Hellsing Ultimate. However, Blanc is best known for his role as Dr. Barry Goodman in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul

Despite his comically oversized head, hands, and loot bag, Avarice is quite the nimble fighter and loves to jump around his home, which just so happens to be an abandoned museum filled with priceless antiques. Ironically, he values these items just as much as he does random junk such as hubcaps and bathtubs.

Ulthane is the polar opposite of Avarice, though. As a Maker (a race of giants that only exists in the Darksiders franchise and literally built all of reality) Ulthane likes to build, be it weapons or relationships. While he’s mostly cheerful, he isn’t without his limits, and he’s most certainly haunted by his past deeds that led to the untimely Apocalypse. Still, better that he use his giant hammer to craft metal than to smash bone.
