Rage 2 Release Date: What We Know So Far

What We Know So Far About a Rage 2 Release Date

Recommended Videos

While Rage 2 was supposed to be one of the announcements at Bethesda’s E3 2018 conference, Wal-Mart Canada kinda spoiled the fun by leaking it weeks before. Set to blend the tight FPS controls of iD Software’s DOOM, with the open world scale of the original game, Rage 2 looks set to be bigger, better, and more badass in every sense of the world. During its E3 2018 showcase, Bethesda gave us a closer look at gameplay of Rage 2, which also gave us a vague idea of what the game’s release date could be, too.

At the end of the gameplay trailer for Rage 2 shown at E3 this year, it was revealed that the game is due to release sometime in Spring 2019. This would therefore mean we’re looking at a March, April, or May release date. With Ubisoft’s The Division 2 releasing mid-March, we don’t think it’ll release around the same time. If we were going to take an educated guess, we’d predict a May 2019 release date.

Of course, this is just pure speculation on our part right now, based on that Spring 2019 release window revealed at the end of the trailer. As soon as we have more concrete information on when Rage 2 will finally be out, we’ll be sure to update this post and let you know.
