Onrush: How to Play with Friends

How to Play with Friends in Onrush

Recommended Videos

At first glance, Onrush looks like a combination of Motorstorm and Burnout, but it is actually more focused on objectives and teamwork than finishing first. Working with your five team mates to capture zones or boost the most are always the aims, but it’s more fun when you’re playing with friends. You’ll therefore want to know how you either join a friend’s game, or get them to join yours.

In any of the game’s menus, you’ll see your active crashtag, name, and level in the top right corner of the screen. If you press triangle or Y, on PS4 and Xbox One respectively, a menu will appear with Session, Invites, Friends, and Requests being options. To invite a player, they need to be online and have the game loaded. Once they do so, their profile will appear when you select ‘Friends’. By pressing X/A, you’ll be able to invite them to your lobby. Once they’ve joined, their character and vehicle will appear next to yours on the main menu. You will then be able to jump into any online match or Superstar mode round and you’ll be part of the same team.

That’s all you need to know about how to play with friends in Onrush. For more on the game, be sure to search for Twinfinite.
