State of Decay 2 reminds you of the importance of keeping quiet when around zombies. Gunshots, sprinting, the hum of a car engine – all of these sounds are enough to have the undead stumbling over in your direction. But being all quiet and stealthy isn’t always all that fun. Sometimes you want to just let your hair down and make as much noise as humanly possible before sprinting across a field away from a perseverant bunch of flesh-eaters.

And that’s why one of State of Decay 2’s personal quests pretty much lets you do just that. Well, minus the sprinting and plus a police car. While you’re tasked with running down a bunch of zombies as part of the quest, you’ll still have access to the car afterward, and by pressing down the right stick, you can get the sirens blaring. And because noise attracts zombies, and the siren’s an incredibly loud and obnoxious noise, they’ll swarm to you like bees around honey. Then, reverse back a bit, line ’em all up, and put your pedal to the metal. It also proves as a pretty effective method for clearing out Infestations, too.
