In action-RPGs like Final Fantasy XV, using items and gaining experience to level up is the name of the game. But for YouTuber BOYvsVIDEOGAME, he decided to forgo all that and just beat the entire game at level one and no items to use. The Nixperience Band he wears stops experience points from being tallied for the whole party, making for the ultimate challenge. For many fans, BvVG is also known as the guy who beat Bloodborne without taking a single level and beating Dragon Age Inquisition, solo on Nightmare difficulty. Check out his time with FFXV in the video below, starting with part one.
To get through Final Fantasy XV, BOYvsVIDEOGAME uses plenty of warp strikes and greatswords, which is particularly helpful during the game’s toughest battles. Sometimes fights are over in minutes, others take nearly an hour. It’s not a cakewalk, courtesy of the combat, which he says is “fucking, so stupid…goofy combat.” Still, he was able to conquer the game, and all it took for him was 9 hours and 26 seconds to reach the credits. And once he beats the game? Well, he doesn’t think it deserves a “fin” that the game ends on, thanks to its story being “not even that good.”
