minecraft shulker 1.11 update

Shulker Box – This is a new sort of chest crafted using a regular chest and two Shulker Shells (placed above and below the chest). They’re pretty cool since they can be dyed different colors and come with a cool opening animation, but what’s really awesome about these is that they retain their contents when broken. So place a Shulker Box, fill it with junk, break it, and then pick up the resulting Shulker Box. It’ll only take one slot in your inventory, but still be carrying all of your stuff. When you place it again, you can access all of your goods normally.

Observer – These blocks are making their way to Minecraft 1.11, despite already existing in the Pocket and Windows 10 versions of the game. They create a redstone signal when an adjacent block is updated.

Minecraft 1.11 New Items

Spawn Eggs – We’re getting back a lot of the eggs that were taken out in previous updates (Donkey, Zombie Horse, Skeleton Horse, Wither Skeleton, Mule, Stray, Husk, and Elder Guardian), as well as four new spawn eggs (Vindicator, Evoker, Vex, and Llama).

Totem of Undying – Dropped from Evokers, these totems can save your life. If you die while holding one, you’ll be revived and granted Absorption II for 40 seconds and Regeneration II for 5 seconds. They’ll be destroyed upon use, too.

Shulker Shell – These drop from Shulkers and are used to make Shulker Boxes.

Exploration Map – Cartographer Villagers now sell maps that can pinpoint Woodland Mansions and Ocean Monuments
