Final Fantasy XV

Final Fantasy XV Release Date Revealed at Last

It's been a long time coming. Almost there.

For nearly a decade now gamers have been waiting patiently for the fabled day when at last they would be able to play Final Fantasy XV, known back in 2006 as Final Fantasy Versus XIII. It would be an understatement to say that the game’s been through a lot – the director changed, it got a new name, a new game engine was used because the console generation moved forward, main characters were cut and replaced – the list goes on and on.

Now, at long last, the world knows. We’ll finally be playing Final Fantasy XV on September 30, 2016. That’s not the date for a new playable demo. That’s not the date for a new trailer. That’s not the date for a new event where Square Enix will reveal the release date’s announcement event. September 30, 2016 is the real, actual, final release date for Final Fantasy XV.

One more time, just so you don’t forget, Final Fantasy XV is releasing for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 30, 2016. Praise Ramuh.
