Activision has announced via Twitter that they will reveal the first look at Black Ops 3’s second DLC expansion this Thursday, March 31. In typical Call of Duty fashion, we can probably expect a trailer showcasing four brand new maps and a glimpse of the zombies map continuing the storyline.
The expansion does not have a release date or name, but we do know that it will release first on PlayStation 4 due to a new timed exclusivity. Xbox One and PC players can expect the expansion a month after the launch on the PlayStation 4.
Black Ops 3’s first expansion, The Awakening, is currently available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, and it comes with four new maps – Skyjacked, Splash, Gauntlet, and Rise – and a new Zombies chapter all about time travel called “Der Eisendrache”.
In other Call of Duty news, fans will be interested to learn that a number of reports are saying the next Call of Duty game will be set in space. We’ve seen recent titles set in the not-too-distant future, but if reports are to be believed, the next game could be totally Sci-Fi.
