(WEEKS THREE & FOUR: Oct. 16-27)

Assassin's Creed Origins, Xbox One X

Weeks three and four of October 2017 have their own fair share of games for the Xbox One, too. South Park: The Fractured But Whole will allow fans to head back to the snowy little town as the kids lock horns in a deadly battle between two superhero franchises. The spoils of this war? A Netflix deal. With a new crafting system, deeper combat, and even more outrageous moments than the first game, this is definitely one to keep an eye on.

Oct. 27 is arguably the busiest day of the whole year for video game releases. Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed finally makes its return in the form of Origins taking players to Egypt to uncover the roots of the Brotherhood. The whole game looks set to offer up deeper, RPG-like gameplay, and will also make use of the Xbox One X’s extra power when it eventually releases a couple of weeks later.

Meanwhile, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus brings us the next chapter of BJ Blazkowicz’s story that sees him attempting to crush the Nazi stranglehold on the world. With plenty of badass, futuristic weaponry, and some pretty crazy visuals courtesy of an acid trip, Wolfenstein II looks to be just as fast-paced, gory, and out-there as its predecessor.

You can check out the Xbox One release schedule for the final two weeks of October below.
