Life Is Strange 2 – Episode 1 (Sept. 27)
One of our favorite games of 2015 is finally getting a sequel, and while it may move away from the familiar faces of Max and Chloe that we got to know so well over five episodes (or more in the case of Chloe, thanks to Before the Storm), at least it’s still set in the same world.
This time around, players are following and directing (through their decisions, of course) the story of the Diaz brothers. Though we don’t know a whole lot about the premise of this new series just yet, we do know that the Diaz brothers have to escape their hometown of Seattle following a tragic incident, and that they have to come to terms with a mysterious, supernatural power of some sort along the way.
Judging by the trailer, it looks like some sort of time travel ability again, albeit a little different to Max’s. However, we’re pretty sure the relationship between older brother Sean, and youngster Daniel will also play a prevalent part in the events that unfold.
While we’ll only be getting a snippet of the full story on Sept. 27 in episode one, we’re already clamoring for the teenage angst… and what we hope will be another fantastic soundtrack.
