Fe is a charming little title you may not have heard of that’s coming as part of EA’s program for indie developers, EA Originals. Developed by Zoink, Fe has players control an adorable fox-like creature that must push back dark entities known as the Silent Ones. You won’t be alone in this fight, though. Fe can speak with its fellow woodland critter pals in order to learn new songs which allow it to interact with the forest in new ways. For example, you may learn a new song that allows you to use a flower as a jump-pad to reach previously inaccessible areas.

Though details have remained fairly light on Fe, we do know that the game will force players to think about how they need to complete their objective, rather than simply holding the player’s hand and guiding them to the answer. As such, Fe is shaping up to be more of a challenge than its singing wolf protagonist would have you believe. Plus, the artwork looks great, so there’s that, too.
