If you’re looking for a little something off the beaten path… perhaps a bit more mysterious than the usual fare that releases, then perhaps The Sinking City should be on your radar.

The Sinking City is a detective game created by the experienced team behind the Sherlock Holmes games. This time, they are taking a stab at creating their own world which is inspired by Lovecraftian horror themes.

The story of The Sinking City takes place in the 1920s in Massachusetts where people are receiving mysterious visions accompanied by unprecedented flooding.

Success in the game is dependent on how observant you are. Exploration and discovery is open-ended and if you want to achieve the best possible results, you’ll have to earn them with your superior detective skills.

The Sinking City won’t be giving away gold stars to anyone.
