Even though she has a southern accent on the Walking Dead, she has actually lived a large portion of her life in the UK and attended university there. She has experience taking on a role for a screen adaptation of a beloved franchise and she is well versed in the “geek” community. She also had a brief stint on the CW show Supernatural, where she portrayed Bela Talbot, a damaged and complex, British thief who procured supernatural items and relics. Sound familiar?
