The Messenger: Picnic Panic Expansion

The Messenger is a 2d sidescrolling Metroidvania that made waves when it came out on PC and Switch last year. The action-focused platformer puts you in the role of a ninja who is on a quest to deliver a scroll.

Sabotage Studios were inspired by retro sidescrollers like Ninja Gaiden, but what made The Messenger so different was the 8-bit and 16-bit art style.

Since you have to complete missions in two different time periods, the game shifts back and forth and completely throws you for a loop.

Picnic Panic is a free expansion for The Messenger that will feature new worlds and challenges. Picnic Panic will be playable on the show floor and we hope to see a release date of some sort soon.
