While it’s easy to drop these into a field that seems like it could be relevant, spending a little bit longer to plan out what skills suit your playstyle best will benefit you in the long run.
If you want to get up close and personal with your enemies, pouring research points into the Marksmanship class will probably be a good idea. On the other hand, if you’re wanting to use the technology that fills the city to help you take a quieter approach to missions, you may want to focus on Botnets or City Disruption. Well-placed research points will only allow you to further enhance the enjoyment you get out from your preferred playstyle, so spending a little time to learn what skills are available is always worthwhile.
