Each of Zombies in Spaceland’s characters are unique in their characteristics and they all encompass some ’80s stereotype. There’s the jock, the rapper, the valley girl, and the nerd. They simply pump more style into the game’s art direction, each one having their own theme song and reactions. Such thought was put into these characters, in fact, that they have varying melee attacks. For example, Andre (the rapper) will deck a zombie in the face if you want him to. Just hit the melee button and pop. Then there’s Poindexter who, when prompted to melee, will give what’s more of a measly swipe at the air. He is a weak little nerd, after all. It’s just a fun little choice by the developers to make Zombies in Spaceland a whole world of its own.
