These Video Game Friendships Put the Best in Best Friends

Cole and Zeke (Infamous)

Recommended Videos

After being dumped and hated by most of Empire City, Zeke was the only person Cole truly had on his side. Sure, they had their differences, particularly when Zeke dicked Cole over to get superpowers. While the two patched that over, they still had things to work on. New Marais ended up being the perfect place for them to finally work things out and sit back and enjoy a few cold ones. Whether you’re good or evil, Zeke will stay by your side up until the bitter end, no matter how much of a dick you are to him. He’s one hell of a brother, and we’re sure going to miss him.

Marcus and Dom (Gears of War)

Ever since they met as kids, Dom Santiago and Marcus Fenix have had each other’s backs. Marcus has been there for Dom ever since his brother Carlos died in the Pendulum Wars, and Dom never gave up on trying to get Marcus out of prison. It was Marcus who helped Dom find his missing wife Maria and consoled him in his time of grief. Dom sacrifices himself to save the others, and for Marcus, the loss of the man he called his brother breaks him more than the death of any other soldier could. If the future of Gears involves Marcus in any way, it won’t be the same without Dom.

Delsin, Fetch, and Eugene (Infamous: Second Son)

Delsin Rowe loves meeting new people, especially when they give him superpowers. Fetch’s sass works well with Delsin’s snark, and Eugene’s shyness ends up bringing out the brotherly side of the younger Rowe brother. Like Delsin himself says, a gamer, a junkie, and a small town delinquent end up changing the world a hell of a whole lot, and the three of them find friendship in being outcasts in a world that wants them locked up or dead. When he’s tired of smoke and switches to neon or video, Delsin knows that he’s got Fetch and Eugene by his side.
