Square Enix E3 2018 Predictions: What to Expect Them to Show

Dragon Quest XI and Builders 2

Recommended Videos

Dragon Quest has been a huge presence over the years for Square Enix, especially recently with Dragon Quest XI selling over 2 million copies in Japan in the first two days alone. Dragon Quest XI is finally making its way west this September, and it’s confirmed to be playable at E3, but there could be even more on the way from the series.

We’ll most likely get a good look at Dragon Quest Builders 2, the sequel to the popular Minecraft-like spin-off. While the game was announced last August we’ve yet to see any substantial details, especially in the west. Dragon Quest may not be anywhere near as popular in America as it is in Japan, but the series has seen increasing popularity and sales in recent years. Perhaps this could even lead to the localization of some other games, like say Theatrythm Dragon Quest. We can dream at least.
