Death Stranding Gameplay Shown Extensively, Kojima on Stage
The man, the legend that is Hideo Kojima is sure to make a rockstar-like appearance on stage again this year, isn’t he? We sure hope so, and we also hope that he’s bringing more than just another bizarre tone piece for his hotly anticipated title, Death Stranding. Two years after we first caught a glimpse of this intriguing new game, we’re more than ready for a deep dive into gameplay this time around.
We already know the game is certainly playable thanks to comments made by Sony executive Mark Cerny, whose seen over an hour of Death Stranding running in-engine. But we want to see it for ourselves! Especially considering that the nature of its actual design is completely up in the air right now. Kojima’s close friend Norman Reedus divulged information earlier this year pertaining to “collaboration” as a key part of the game design, so we’re absolutely dying to know what Death Stranding is all about.
With most of Sony’s hand already on the table at this year’s E3, surely we need a substantial look at gameplay to raise the roof to past E3 conference levels of excitement?
