Destiny was a smash hit despite some gamer complaints, mostly dealing with the lack of a rich story. Bungie sets out to correct all of this with Destiny 2 in order to deliver a game closer to what fans expected the first time around. Still, multiplayer has proven to be a blast and has a hardcore fan-base for those who could look over any disappointments they may have had at first.

Bungie should get some kudos for finding a way to meet fan expectations while sticking to their vision of Destiny. The developers will be including something they call “Guided Games.” This will aid players in better matchmaking without having to leave the game to seek out like-minded players. This is just one of their changes to win back gamers who weren’t over the moon for Destiny. Will these changes broaden the fan-base? Only time will tell, but the fans should be in store for some great gameplay as Destiny 2 is shown off in just over a week.
