The Far Cry series has been one of biggest gaming highlights in 2018, and following the release of the fifth game, fans can pick up Far Cry 3 on modern consoles. Say goodbye to Hope County and prepare to fumble your way through the wild wilderness of Rook Islands, home to Vaas and his crew. What was supposed to be a fun island vacation with your friends turns into a battle for survival, as you must find a way to escape and keep everyone safe from the growing dangers on the island.
Players will have to fight their way around Rook Island and save their friends along the way. While Far Cry 3 is a first-person shooter, there are a few role-playing elements scattered in for good measure. Players will earn experience points which, in turn, can be used to unlock new abilities in the skill tree. You can also craft different items to use in combat, and you’ll have all the firepower you need to kill any pirates that stand in your way. One important thing to note about the Classic Edition, however, is that all multiplayer and co-op features have been removed. Nevertheless, you’re still in for a wild single-player ride through Rook Island.
