PlayStation has a mobile app that is free to download on the App Store or Google Play. While the app has a lot of functionality (like seeing which of your friends are online when you invited them out but they said they already had plans), two things in particular are worth pointing out: keyboard functionality and remote downloads.
Once the app is downloaded to your device and connected, you can use the app as a keyboard for your PlayStation. Now you don’t have to use the controller to enter your name, activation code, billing information, etc.
