Character abilities are important in Overwatch, as each combatant has his or her own unique power. No two powers are alike, and it’s important to properly use them, but what happens when you face a team of the exact same heroes? Given the prevalence of social media, message boards, and online forums, there’s a good chance players have traded many tales about how to counteract character X with character Y.

A mode where each team serves as a “mirror” for one another would put this team work to a test. Randomly assigning the heroes, players would come up against the same team of Overwatch heroes to determine who has a better mastery of their favorite character. Bastion v. Bastion, Hanzo v. Hanzo, Mei v. Mei, are just a few match ups that could serve as exciting tests of skill. On top of that, players would probably learn different ways to play with some of their favorite characters.
