FromSoftware is hard at work on the final piece of Dark Souls III DLC, and we get that. But at the same time, Bloodborne still stands as one of the best games on the PS4 right now, and with the Old Hunters expansion now out, it’s more than likely they’re making a sequel. (And if they’re not, they totally should, because the world needs more crushingly difficult steampunk/horror titles.)
From is big enough to work on two titles at once, clearly, and with Souls wrapping up fairly soon, people are going to be wondering just what comes next for them. It’d be more surprising to learn that they weren’t doing Bloodborne 2, considering how much of a critical and financial success it was for the studio, and how it currently stands in the top of Souls games for many fans. We’re sure their next announcement (whatever it is) is coming soon, but this just felt like an easy layup that someone refused to make.
