The Hunt: Showdown – Xbox One Version

This game looks awesome. The Hunt: Showdown has been in early access for a while, but the Xbox One version was revealed at Gamescom and it will be coming to Game Preview sometime in the future. In this competitive online shooter, players are grouped together to take out monsters in a Louisiana swamp setting. But, as each player is a bounty hunter, the end of each match may result in players backstabbing one another to return the bounty first.

It’s an interesting premise that we don’t see too often. Based on the trailer, there are a wide variety of weapons like shotguns, machetes, and revolvers that can be used to take out your targets. Even more fascinating is how this plays like a horror game and gives off some serious Left 4 Dead and Resident Evil 7 vibes, but in a multiplayer setting. For now, there are no plans for a PS4 release, so look forward to The Hunt: Showdown on Xbox One and PC at a later time.
