FromSoft’s PS4 games look incredible, so it’s no surprise that Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is utterly jaw-dropping as well.

Set in feudal Japan, Sekiro’s landscapes are mostly snowy as you explore the large territory of Ashina within a single mountain range. That’s not to say there isn’t any environmental variety though, as you’ll get to visit lush forests, stony fortresses, and of course, disgusting green poisonous swamps.

Sekiro’s beauty largely lies in the way the world is designed and how it’s laid out. Every seemingly separate area fits together like a snug piece of a puzzle, and it’s absolutely breathtaking when you catch a glimpse of a far off area that you won’t get to actually visit for several hours.

The bosses and enemies themselves are plenty gruesome as well, and as always, FromSoft shines when it comes to inserting little details and other minor additions in their immersive game worlds.
