Bonus Medals – Ghost Recon Wildlands

For those looking to get every edge possible against the Santa Blanca Cartel, players will want to be on the look out for special items called Bonus Medals. These are special unlockables that are scattered throughout all of Ghost Recon Wildlands’ world and are usually heavily guarded by enemy forces. In order to find them you can either stumble across Bonus Medals in hidden outposts and caves or have them marked on your map via intel documents. They are marked by a big blue star with a line underneath them and are usually always worth the hassle.

What Bonus Medals do is give you a passive buff on a specific skill regardless if you have dumped any skill points into it. For example, you can find a Bonus Medal for the Trained Rebels skill that will automatically give all of your friendly forces a 5% damage increase. This can be an extremely useful way to balance your progression if you don’t want to upgrade a specific skill right away. Having as many passive buffs as possible in Ghost Recon Wildlands is a great way to become even more powerful and dominate the cartel.

Remember, these buffs are not tiny and are usually quite substantial as the Ammo Capacity medal will give you a base increase of 25% to how many rounds you can carry. Always be on the lookout for these items when you are out exploring in the various regions.
