What’s New in Fortnite Season 4? Everything You Need to Know

We told you we’d get back round to those Hop Rocks. If you’ve been to Dusty Divot or Risky Reels, or one of the other craters around the map, you may have spotted some glowing rocks in the surrounding area. These are Hop Rocks and offer a power-up of sorts to players once consumed. By interacting with them, players can get a temporary boost that allows for low gravity jumping. This can be particularly handy for getting out of somewhere in a hurry, or for just trying to reach the roof of a building with some loot on it.

Whether or not Hop Rocks are the first of more power-up items to hit Fortnite Battle Royale currently remains to be seen. However, with a superhero theme for Season 4, it certainly isn’t out of the question.
