Sequels for The Evil Within and Wolfenstein?
It’s been a while since the release of the first Evil Within. That game went back to the roots of survival horror, providing some seriously intense sequences where death lurked around every corner and ammunition was scarce. Ever since, fans have been eagerly awaiting a followup to fill the void that Resident Evil created when it switched to a more action route. It wouldn’t be surprising if there was something being developed by Tango Gameworks and Shinji Mikami.
On the other hand, Wolfenstein once proved how insanely fun a first-person shooter could be. The recently released Doom exists in the same vein, but there’s just something about stepping into the boots of B.J. Blaskowicz that is beyond compare. The open layout of each mission, as well as the different ways you could take out the enemy, made for a great experience that needs to be followed up on – something Bethesda may be well aware of.
