Best Games to Look Forward to in June 2018

Set in Victorian London, Vampyr is a pretty new direction for Dontnod Entertainment. Rather than the action-light, narrative-driven experience we got in the developer’s Life Is Strange, Vampyr is more about fast-paced action and RPG elements. Though, your choices will still have a pretty huge impact on how things play out in the game.

You’ll assume the role of Jonathan Reid, a doctor intent on helping to save the flu-ravaged city of London whose also trying to come to terms with the after-effects of being bitten by a vampire. You’ll be hunted through the streets and will need to use your newly-found powers to defend yourself against vampire hunters and all other manner of enemies, while also ensuring you manage to cure citizens before it’s too late. It may not be in the same vein entirely as Life Is Strange, but if you’re intrigued by what the developer is up to next, and playing as a vampire sounds like a heck of a lot of fun to you, Vampyr is definitely worth checking out.
