Best 10 Co-Op Games to Look Forward to in 2018
Crackdown 3 had long been expected to launch in tandem with Microsoft’s Xbox One X console last year, but after a slightly underwhelming E3 presentation, the game was delayed to 2018. Shannon Loftis stated the decision was primarily a result of lukewarm reception to its aesthetic, stating the team was given “extra time to focus on the visual polish so gamers can feel completely immersed in a living world”.
Visuals aside, Crackdown has always been about gameplay, and in that department, crashing around its futuristic city environment wreaking havoc did leave a positive critical impression. With a little bit more of that visual polish Microsoft wants to be added, we’re sure Crackdown 3 will prove a compelling cooperative experience. Certainly, one to keep an eye on.
