Looking to really up the ante when it comes to the August PS Plus free games, Sony could look towards 2020 hits Dirt 5 and 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim to keep PS4 owners happy.

Dirt 5 sees players taking on a variety of different race types as they go about proving themselves in the Career mode. You’ll need to win races, and complete additional objectives to earn stars and unlock future races. Sponsorships will help fund your new purchases, and the more arcadey gameplay makes it a great jumping-in point for newcomers while providing that satisfying ‘dirt-style’ gameplay for long-term fans.

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim, on the other hand, is part 2D sidescrolling adventure, part turn-based, top-down strategy game. It’s a bold blend, but one that works fantastically within its world, as you battle kaiju as schoolkids in massive mechs. It’s all very Japan, but it’s an excellent title all the same, and one well worth checking out if the premise interests you.
