Ranked Arenas Mode
Everything New in Apex Legends Season 10
Arenas is a 3v3 mode that was introduced to Apex Legends in Season 9, and now it’s getting a ranked mode. Ranked Arenas is similar to ranked battle royale, but it has a few notable differences.
Ranked Arenas has 10 placement matches that need to be completed to determine your initial Matchmaking Rating. Arenas Points are used to rank up and determine your matchmaking field, and they can only be earned through wins — unlike how the battle royale mode rewards points for other factors.
Another big difference is that there’s no demotion protection, so players can rank down from Silver to Bronze, for example. There’s also no split, so your rank won’t reset until next season. Additionally, maps in Ranked Arenas will change hourly, instead of every 15 minutes.
