Nintendo has been on an absolute roll ever since the company launched the Switch back in March. The company has worked to ensure that each month has at least one major release for the new hardware to keep it alive and on everyone’s radars, and this summer month is no different. Just in time for the heat waves that are bound to hit us, Splatoon 2 sees the adorable Inklings once again using paint-filled water guns and other gadgets to dominate maps and cover up the competition. If it’s anything like the first game, you can expect hours of competitive fun that you can now take on the go.

Check out what else is releasing this week:

  • July 18 – Orcs Must Die: Unchained (PS4)
  • July 18 – Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles (PS4)
  • July 20 – Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires’ Conspiracy (iOS, Android)
  • July 21 – Splatoon 2 (Switch)
