Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is sort of a soft-reboot of the critically acclaimed first-person shooter series and Infinity Ward will be doubling down on the narrative, making players decide on difficult decisions and dealing with heavily emotional moments.

Instead of being futuristic, like some of the recent Call of Duty titles have played around with, Modern Warfare will be, like the title suggests, a modern and realistic shooter that hopes to hearken back to the classic PS3/360 titles that put the modern take on the franchise on the map.

And don’t worry, there will still be intense squad-based missions and classic multiplayer modes that veterans will be accustomed to.
