Rain Has the Ability to Make You Age
One of the hazards Sam will have to contend with is rain.
Not just any rain though, rain that once you’re subject to it, can cause the recipient to age as time is accelerated to an unimaginable degree.
Death Stranding deals with otherworlds and a whole array of paranormal existences. The rain, known as Timefall is just one example of this.
Timefall rain can rapidly deteriorate Sam’s cargo, so quickly finding shelter to avoid the substance is vital and can cause panic to an otherwise normal delivery run.
Although the rain speeds up the process of aging, it affects Sam at a slower rate. Don’t worry – this isn’t Benjamin Button!
But it’s still a situation you must be prepared for, much like the weather we experience everyday, it’s unpredictable.
