All Purchased Weapons Get Stored At the Gun Locker

There are a multitude of weapons to use in Days Gone, from baseball bats with barbed wire to crossbows. Of course, there’s also plenty of good old guns as well. You can pick up a ton of weapons just by wandering the world or killing enemies, however, you can also buy them from the various encampments you visit.
The neat thing is that any guns you actually purchase will forever be stored in gun lockers. This means even if you pick up another weapon and drop the gun you bought, you can once again equip it by going to a gun locker, usually found in important buildings and your safehouse.
By the same token, though, guns you simply pick up will not be in your locker, so once you drop it, it’s gone.
