Most of the Behemoths that you take on to slay, will have different elemental types that can be weak or strong against your armor and weapons.
Before you head out on a quest, always prepare yourself for what type of monster you will be facing. For example, if you are taking on a quest to slay the Blazed-typed Embermane, then you would try to bring a weapon with elemental frost power.
You can also craft armor by using Behemoth loot and making stuff that has elemental attributes. If you plan everything out, defeating a strong Behemoth will take no time at all.
Just remember the weakness chart: Terra beats Shock, Frost beats Blaze, and Radiant beats Umbral.
