Just about the last person in the world expected to walk out onto the Ubisoft stage was Rob McElhenney, actor, producer, and screenwriter best known for portraying Mac on the comedy It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia.

McElhenney was there to announce his new show, Mythic Quest, which tells the story of a fictional games studio gearing up to release the first expansion to their MMO, of the same name. The show looks to lambast some of the larger than life figures in gaming, and McElhenney’s Ian Grimm is the self-important creative director with delusions of grandeur.

The show is coming via Apple TV, and we weren’t given a release date. This will be one to watch, as Always Sunny has been consistently fantastic throughout its run, and Mythic Quest should be similarly great.
