4. Boss Rush Mode

For better or worse, likely depending on how well your perform against them, Kingdom Hearts is a series filled to the brim with boss fights. If you remember the final world of Kingdom Hearts 2, you know that that last world is basically boss, after boss, after boss, after boss.

Some of these bosses are terribly forgettable (particularly that weird ribbon spring heartless in Kingdom Heart’s Alice in Wonderland level), but some of the boss fights are exhilarating and challenging (any Vanitas fight ever).

With a Boss Rush mode, players would not only be able to experience these fights over and over again to their (Kingdom) hearts’ content, it would also serve as a way for players to sharpen their keyblade skills.

If a Boss Rush mode was added in as DLC, Square Enix could even toss in some trophies or achievements tied to certain fights or exclusive keyblades that can only be earned after doing this challenge or that challenge during this or that fight.

Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep already had something similar in the Mirage Arena, and with some tweaks here and there, a Mirage Boss Rush Arena could work wonders for the Kingdom Hearts 3 endgame.
