Best Multiplayer and Co-Op Games of April 2018

BattleTech is a turn-based strategy game set in the year 3025 where an intergalactic war is waged in giant, combat vehicles called BattleMechs. It was developed by Harebrained Schemes, the creators of the popular Shadowrun series.

In the game you build a fleet of over 30 BattleMechs that can be upgraded and repaired in order to fight efficiently on battlefields with unique abilities, weapons, and positioning capabilities. You can battle online against other BattleMech fleets in a PvP mode, or stick to single-player skirmish to test yourself against the game’s AI.

Cross-platform play between Steam and GOG is also available for BattleTech, if you and a friend happen to purchase the game on different distribution platforms.

BattleTech released for PC on April 24.
