RAD
Double Fine has, time and again, proven themselves the master of strange and quirky little games, and RAD is simply the next step in that legacy. RAD is a procedurally generated rogue-like that casts you as a teenager surviving the post-post-apocalypse, meaning the world has done and ended twice over.
You’ll have plenty of guns and tools to help you in the dangerous wilds, but in order for the teenagers of RAD to really survive they’ll need to use wild mutations. These mutations tie directly into the gameplay of RAD, enhancing your abilities or opening up entirely new powers to use.
For example, you can replace your head with a Cobra that’ll strike nearby enemies, then gaining the ability to lay eggs and hatch other weird cobra-hybrids. RAD also sports a unique neon-infused 80s aesthetic, making it feel distinctly unique from the rest of the rogue-like games out there.
No one out there makes games quite like Double Fine, and hopefully RAD can be another instant hit on the PS4,
