2020 Games That Will Probably Get Delayed

If there’s one game that immediately left a majority of those who checked it out to be disappointed when it was revealed this year, it was Marvel’s Avengers.

Right from its first proper reveal this year, fans were divided over character models, the seeming lack of direction the game had, and were still kind of confused as to exactly what the game even was.

Skip forward about six months and everything’s non-the-clearer. We’ve still not seen a whole lot of Marvel’s Avengers, and it hasn’t reignited that excitement that followed its first ever reveal teaser.

We could be completely wrong, but as another title courtesy of Square Enix (developed by Eidos Montreal and Crystal Dynamics), Avengers seems delay-prone from the off.

Add in a hearty dose of mixed reactions this early on prior to its release on May 15, 2020, and it just… doesn’t bode well.

There’s still six months for the development teams to get things polished up and show off a more impressive chunk of gameplay than what was shown at E3. Whether or not it’s enough to make the game pass internal standards, however, remains to be seen.
