10 Biggest Gaming Moments in 2019 That Shook the World

Though the Legend of Zelda series has a plethora of entries, next to none of them are direct sequels to one another.

Each tends to see players embark on a familiar journey through a different land, with little more than references to past games littered throughout.

That’s why the moment when a sequel to Breath of the Wild was announced came as such a shock. Not only were the versions of Link and Zelda from the first game still readily identifiable, but the world itself looked to be the same one which players had spent hundreds of hours in, coming to know and love its every detail.

It was the kind of moment that fans couldn’t help but be excited by. For the first time ever, they would be able to step back into a version of Hyrule near and dear to their hearts for another adventure; and, if all went well, might be able to look forward to more numbered sequels in the series moving forward.
