The Best PC Exclusive Game of 2017

divinity: original sin 2

Divinity Original Sin 2 is the ultimate PC game this year, and just like, in general. The isometric RPG genre is one that thrived on PCs but is not as common or popular as it was for reasons unknown. The Divinity Original Sin games are Larian Studios’ love letter to the genre and it’s everything that fans of games like Baldur’s Gate could ever hope and dream of.

You should read our review for the full scoop because there’s a lot, but just a quick rundown. There’s a MASSIVE campaign filled with an absurd amount of content totaling to an easy hundred hours if you want to spend that much time. So much of that stuff features multiple ways to complete quests and different experiences depending on what your characters’ backstory is. Oh so yeah, you can pick from a number of surprisingly interesting pre-created characters with their own origin story that impacts your gameplay, or create your own as well. All of this can be played co-op with friends, too, to boot.

Finally, if you somehow get tired of the story or complete everything. You can take a stab at Game Master mode, and channel your inner D&D to come up with fun quests, scenarios, and story using Divinity Original Sin 2’s assets.

If any of this is even remotely appealing to you, Divinity Original Sin 2 will hook you in. It’s so incredibly rich with content, and at least for now, available exclusively on PC and is our runaway pick of the best of 2017 for PC.
