How to Save – God Eater 2: Rage Burst

Recommended Videos

God Eater 2: Rage Burst is a brutal action-RPG that tasks players with hunting hordes of dangerous monsters. Naturally, after finishing a particularly difficult encounter, you’ll want to save your game. There’s nothing worse than beating a tough boss only to go back and find out you need to do it all over again because you forgot to record your progress.

Thankfully, the good folks over at Shift put in a convenient prompt after every mission and major cutscene. Upon the completion of a mission, you will be asked whether or not you want to overwrite your file; simply hit yes and your data will be updated. If you complete some things back at HQ (such as change inventory, customization, etc. ), you can manually save by approaching the terminals (the computers located near the mission desk) and choosing the Save option.

Do keep in mind that you cannot create multiple files for one character. Choosing save while in the game will only allow you to overwrite the file you are currently playing. If you want to take different approaches as you play the game, you’ll need to use multiple characters.
