After over a decade of nothing but animated ventures and video games, Star Wars came back big last year with the release of The Force Awakens. The movie was nothing short of a bonafide hit, wowing critics and audiences alike (including us!), even if it did lean a bit too heavily on the nostalgia. If you somehow haven’t bought the Blu-Ray, you’ll be pleased to hear that the film itself is finally available…to anyone who lives in the Great White North.

Yes, if you’re someone who has a Canadian Netflix account, if you check the recent additions, the JJ Abrams directed film will be among the lineup. We had someone confirm, and it is indeed there. A release window for other audiences hasn’t been established yet, but if one is, we’ll let you know.

It’s a big weekend for Star Wars, given that they’re holding their Celebration event in London. They also unveiled the first poster for the upcoming Rogue One film, along with some new footage, and there’s sure to be more info released by the end of Sunday. May as well spend the weekend watching the streams and Force Awakens on Netflix for a fun time, no?
