How to Co-Stream Your Game with Friends on Xbox One

Recommended Videos

The latest Xbox One update adds the ability to co-stream a “multi-view experience” with friends to other viewers around the world as part of the Mixer app. For those unfamiliar with what Co-Streaming is, it basically allows you and your friends or family members to broadcast what you’re all doing simultaneously. This is particularly handy for multiplayer gameplay when viewers would want to see what each player is doing at a particular moment in time. Here’s how to Co-Stream your game with friends on the Xbox One.

The process of co-streaming with friends is actually incredibly simple. All you need to do is open your friends list, scroll down to the player/s you want to broadcast with, select Invite, and then choose the ‘Invite to Co-Stream’ option.

Once you’ve sent out the invitations, make your way down to the Broadcast menu on the Xbox Guide and select the ‘Co-Stream your game’ option. All you need to do now is simply follow the on-screen instructions and have all of your co-streamers accept the invitations.

That’s all you need to know to set up a multi-view streaming experience via Mixer on the Xbox One. If you’ve got any more questions about the Xbox One, Mixer, or streaming on the system, be sure to let us know and we’ll do our best to help you out!
