Getting Taunts
Ah, Uncharted 4 multiplayer. There’s a certain rush that comes with swinging on a rope only to drop down and decimate another player below that can’t really be found in the single-player campaign. But, to make those moments more memorable, there are taunts. Little dances and actions you can do to add insult to injury as your enemy’s corpse lies lifeless on the ground (or as it falls off of a cliff).
There are a quite a few taunts available for purchase provided that you have enough Uncharted Points. You can obtain those points by playing the multiplayer component of Uncharted 4 or paying some of your hard earned cash for a nice pile. Once you have some head on over to the Store menu found in the multiplayer section of the game.
Once inside the store hit R1 until you’re in the Customization tab then select Taunts. Taunts are divided into three separate categories: Classic, Dances, and Taunts with Props. Classics cost 100 points each, while the other two categories will run you 300 a pop for each one.
Using Taunts
Once you have the Taunts you want, back out of the store and enter the Customization menu from the multiplayer screen. To set a Taunt, choose a character, then press R1 until you’re in the Taunts Tab. Choose the Taunt you want and press X to select it or Triangle to set it as the default for all of your characters.
Once in battle, hit up on the d-pad to initiate the animation and piss off your adversaries. You should keep in mind, though, that taunting will paint a target on your back. Nobody likes a showoff, and it isn’t completely unheard of to be shot while in the middle of a very poignant dab. But at least you’ll be the most charismatic assassin in all of Uncharted 4. Have fun!
