If you’ve been keeping an eye on Steam’s popular charts in the past week, you’ll undoubtedly have spotted Loop Hero, a new deck-building rogue-lite RPG from FourQuarters and Devolver Digital. Indeed, while the game is extremely compelling, it’s biggest flaw thus far is the lack of clarity in item descriptions. Here’s everything you need to know about the Surveyor trait in Loop Hero.
Loop Hero Surveyor Trait Explained
As your character defeats enemies in an expedition, they’ll gain experience and eventually level up. And each time you level up, you get to select one trait from three random ones that become available to you. One of the traits you can get is called Surveyor, and the description is as follows:
“0.5* loop HP for an adjacent road-side tile while passing a tile.”
Confused? So were we. But here’s how it works.
Basically, each time your character passes a tile that has a structure adjacent to it inside or outside the loop, you’ll restore a bit of HP. For instance, if a tile has a Spider Cocoon next to it, you’ll restore HP thanks to the Surveyor trait.
This makes it very easy for you to recover health once you’re late into an expedition as chances are good that you’ll have placed a whole bunch of tiles around the loop at this point.
If you pair it up with regen, or even good HP recovery from your Meadow tiles, you’ll basically be healing up every step of the way, making it easier for you to complete even more loops.
Like all other traits, getting the Surveyor trait is purely up to chance. If you don’t get it the first time, try to gain enough experience to level up again for another shot at getting the trait.
That’s all you nned to know about how the Surveyor trait works in Loop Hero. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
